A rocket blasts off. At 10.0 seconds after blastoff it is at 10000 feet, traveling at 3600mph . Assumin direction assuming the diection is up calculate the accceleration.

I guess that you missed the part saying that the acceleration of the rocket is constant...
Well, use your equations.
v^2 = u^2 + 2as
v is the final speed, u the initial speed, a the acceleration and s the displacement.
Hm... I don't see where the acceleration due to gravity is coming... :confused:
