Couple with 3 adult children over age of 25. Owns home and property, husband has annuities from retirement. Spouse is currently benefifiary of annuities.
Husband trying to write a will leaving house and real property to spouse along with savings account. Would like to split the annuities appx $140,000 between spouse and children. Will this work?

Hello S:

I'm not sure what you mean by "work". I suppose if nobody challenges a hand written will like that, it would "work". But, if somebody challenged it, and it WASN'T prepared by an attorney, their challenge might "work".

If you want your husbands wishes to be carried out, HIRE a lawyer. It's not like you can't afford it.
