For people that think they're ready to have sex, and have read other post, don't get all scared. I had been with me ex for two years before we did, and even then I was still only 14. Do I regret it? No way. We had known each other for years before we went out, and I loved him to bits. Yes I know I said ex, but we never broke up. He died in a car accident, and its been almost a year. Sex didn't control our relationship, only pushed us closer. If there's someone you love, tell them. Because one day it may be too late

Fair enough on the underage thing. But some people make it sound like you should never do it unless your ready to have children. And I think, yeah caution should be expressed but not building a brick wall. I agree with you too

Really, you should be perpared to get pregnant if you have sex,no form of conception is 100%...

So it is a very real.

Often young teens become so emotionally involved that they have sex so young, with long lasting emotional and relationship problems.

Your teenage years should be about having fun, seeing your friends and enjoying your youth, without the trauma of unexpected pregnancy.

I should also mention it is against the law to have sex with an under age boy or girl.

The law is there for a good reason.

And the advice posted against teenage sex is given by people who have seen first hand the damage it causes, they are not posting their comments and advice to be mean or spoilsports.

Ginny I have read over some of your other posts, and you have said to othe posters to wait to have sex, also relaying a story about a girl in your class that got pregnant on purpose.

I can understand that you loved your boyfriend and how his death would have affected you at such a young age..

I understand what you mean about telling the one you love what they mean to you..

Accidents happens and the death of someone you love is horrible, but you don't have to have sex to show you love someone,at any age.

My partner and I couldn't have sex for over 2 years because of medical problems...

If anything THAT brought us closer together, it allowed us to connect with each other without there being sex involved, yes it was frustrating but without the sex we were able to connect on a more emotional level.

Sex isn't an important part to a relationship when you are young, and trust me, in most cases you will regret it because when you meet the next "perfect" boy you will wish he was your first, then when you break up with him and meet an even more "perfect" boy you will wish the same thing again and again...
