I just purchased a pontoon boat, I want to use a inverter to power my little green machine
To clean spills on carpet as they happen before stain can set the green machine pulls 3 amps. The inverter I looked at says 200 watt continusaly 400 watt peak. Will this inverter
Work? Thank you, ged1919

3 Amps at 120 volts is 360 watts.
May be cutting a little close.
Salt or Fresh water?

Won't work, you need at least 400 W continuous and you need some peak power for starting. 2x would probably work.

Don't get less than a 1500 watt inverter. Install it, and you will use it more often than you can imagine. Just be sure to turn it off when you aren't using it. Most have a current draw when on, even if not being used.
