What can I expect at a probation hearing when I have retitution fees that is unpaid? What are the chances that they may terminate my probation

You may be required to catch up on the restitution that day to avoid going to jail.

Hello b:

They'll probably extend your probation till you pay. It IS about the money, these days.

Depending if the probation violation hearing is about you not completely paying off the restitution fine that is. You should have been working all along with your PO about this fine. Knowing that you could not have it paid in full at the proper time you should have talked it over with the PO and the PO quite could have approached the Judge asking for more probation time in which you could pay off your restitution fine. Now it's too late for that.

Sure, they just might "terminate" your probation - but it will be terminated by you going to jail for a spell. Your probation won't just be terminated on the day it's supposed to end - oh, no, too easy. It will terminate when your restitution is paid in full - then and only then will it be terminated.
