Im trying to catch a groundhog. I think I might have more than 1 under my deck. I have live traps. but I don't know what to bait it with. Any help out there? Thanks

These things have worked for people I know who have had this problem. Wet dog/cat food... or peanut butter. Be aware of the other creatures you may catch

First you have to be certain it's a groundhog rather than a mole. If it's under your deck it may even be a raccoon.
Raccoons and groundhogs are attracted to vegetable baits, such as sesame or sunflower seeds mixed into peanut butter. If you have to mix it yourself do not use roasted seeds.
Moles are carnivorous and the best bait for them would be a cup of nightcrawlers from the bait shop.

Try apple slices.
