I have a Wellsaver pressure tank, no instructions on how to increase water pressure,

The cut in/ cut off switch (that little box with the wires electric running to it) has screw adjustments for the cut on /cut off pressure. What does your pressure gauge read now after the pump has cut off?

You don't increase your water pressure at the bladder tank.
Are you asking how to charge your bladder tank or how to adjust your control box? What's the pressure gage read when the pump's up to pressure? Let me know, Tom

It reads 10lbs, I looked at the two adjustments and understand one goes one way just wasn't sure which one went clockwise?

I'm going to assume that you have a "square D pumptrol. First turn off the power at the breaker box, then pull the cover off the pressure switch and you will see two spring loaded bolts secured with nylon nuts,(see image) One tall, one short. To increase the pressure, turn the nut on the tall bolt down. This will increase both the cut in and the cut out points. If you just want to increase the cut out pressure without increasing the cut in point then turn the nut on the short bolt down. Good luck, Tom

If you have a pressure reading of only 10 lbs I think you have problem of some kind. How about telling us what has happened.

I think HK has a point. Brocker, 10# of pressure is next to nothing. You would notice a mere dribble of water coming out of faucets. I can't imagine a switch cutting off at 10#. If it cuts off there, at what pressure would it cut on?

The gauge is at the first line under 10, when we turn on a sink the unit kicks on and the gauge goes to 20, we have water pressure until we try to water the yards with two hoses, this unit was just installed last month by a plumber

All of which brings me back to my first question.
What's the pressure gage read when the pump's up to pressure and shuts off? .

Exactly what was installed? A pump, a control box and a bladder tank? When the plumber left was the pressure OK? What's happened here?

All new, tank pressure gauge etc, the old one was rusting and was thought the bladder was old so we were losing pressure, at that time I had someone increased the pressure on the old tank until the new one was installed, we had great water pressure, new equipment installed and back to low water pressure when trying to use more that one water appliance, was hoping I cpould just adjust those screws inside the control box to get a little more pressure

Did this ever work right after it was installed or did the plumber leave you like this?
Is 20PSI all the pressurethe pump will produce? Does it ever shut off? There are three questions up. Please answwer them in order.
