A couple months ago we had a builder come in to replace our tub. After it was done, we noticed a significant drop in our water pressure out of both the tub faucet and the shower faucet, so we are sure it is not the shower faucet head. Since then, we have noticed a steady decrease in water pressure. I asked the builder what we could do, and he recommended turning off the water pressure, draining the water from all of our pipes, turning the water back on, and then turning on the tub faucet. After doing this, I no longer have ANY water coming out of the faucet. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thank you!

It sounds like you have debris inside your faucet, Pleasee tell us the brand and the model number of your Shower/Faucet, is it singlr handle or 3 knob type?
Cheers,
John

I have now remove both the tub faucet and the shower faucet and turned the water on. Still no water pressure so it does not appear to be an issue with the faucets.

Did someone do some plumbing work before the tub was put in?

No I believe all they did was keep the existing tub faucet and put on a new shower faucet.

In addition to the posts above...
If you replaced old, full flow faucet with today's, low flow faucets, you will have noticeable drop in water flow. Today's faucets run only about 2.2 - 4 gln/m.

Thanks for your response, but again, I removed the faucets entirely, so water should be coming right out of the pipe.
