I have a 95 Saturn SC2 that's been overheating.
It started losing coolant a few weeks ago. I bought the car back in May ($1200) and already had to replace the EGR valve ($530), front & back brakes & serpentine belt ($750) 1 week after that the pulley for the belt ($250). That's when the overheating started. My boss at work told me to use a stop leak in the radiator. Since than my car still has been overheating & smoking. When I turn the car off water pours out from underneath. Also the floor board is wet? It seems to do better when I don't run the ac.
I was told its probably the heater core but I'm also wondering if replacing the belt and the pulley had something to do with it since that's when it began. Could the stop leak done any damage and how do I know if the head gasket is cracked from overheating. If anyone has some advice to share it would be great, Thank You!
