I have been trying to remember the name of this movie for the last 15 years or more.

In the 80's (I believe) a movie came out that involved actors and puppets. Similar style to "Gremlins" in the sense that it was intended for adults and not children. In it, there are puppets (including one I think that was named Mr. Sock) and full-blown human-sized puppets or monsters. I only remember two scenes; in one, a monster is being interviewed by a TV anchor and other monsters come in and ransack the place... and in another, people are at a bowling alley and I think a trap door opens and they fall through and find that the pins are really human bones and there are skeletons everywhere.

I don't think this was a horror movie per se, because I watched it as a kid and don't remember being scared. I really hope someone knows what the heck I'm talking about cause I've been Googling it for an HOUR and I can't find anything!

Thanks!

If Mr. Sock is really Mr. Static, then I'd check these movies Demonic Toys, Bad Channels, and/or Dollman. They're in line with Puppetmaster
