So, I was thinking.. like I usually do.

Has anyone ever gotten into some sort of trouble because they were spending too much time on askmehelpdesk?

I have, today for instance, while reading a few questions, and checking up on my some threads, I had completely forgotten about keeping an eye on my two year old. She's being potty trained, having it being her first day where I should have been paying more attention to her I ended up with a yellow puddle on my carpet.

A long time ago, a very long time ago, okay not that long ago, it was march, I was going through this big thing with my daughter's father [shudders] a whole big separation, ICK. Anyway, he discovered that I was on AMHD getting support, he would go all nuts and do this weird time limit things, and would get angry when I was on. ICK. Glad that's over with...

Well that's how I got "in trouble" with AMHD.

So now it's your turn to answer.

Have you ever been late to pick up your child from daycare or school because you were stuck on AMHD?

Does your spouse/significant other have a problem with the amount of time your spending on AMHD?

Have you ever missed making a meal because you were so chained up to this site?

Have you ever spent a whole entire day on AMHD when you could've been doing something "useful"

[I]Don't get me wrong I love this site, this is just a question from my curious little head...

Sometimes I am typing as fast as I can before my son clicks me out when he wants on. A couple times he clicked me out when I was ready to hit the submit button.
Sometimes I will be slipping my shoes on, grabbing my purse and keys and opening the front door to hopefully make it to work on time cause I had to check just one more board first.

My husband and daughters just take a quick look at the screen, roll their eyes and walk away making noises. By the quality of the noises I can usually tell I've been on too long or if someone is bleeding or dying. Then I have to get up.

That last sentence really cracked me up!

Now I just have my daughter to worry about.. can't let her go running around the house-- even with baby gates put up she still manages to get into trouble:eek:
