I have a unique shower valve, looking at the valve I have a mixer at the bottom, directly above that I have a mid height shower valve (shower head is off to the right and at waist height), above that I have another valve which operates the overhead shower head (that is off to the right at normal shower head height). My problem is I would like to change the valve with as little damage to tiles as possible. And also, my water heater is an 80 gal electric that is approx 75' away from this bathroom. I have a rheostat and a circulating pump on the line but still get extreme fluctuations in water temp. What's the fix?

Hi Johnny,

You have three valves in your shower. Which valve would you like to replace?
If you don't wish to disturb the tiles you will have to open up a wall and go in from the back.

If your pump were working full time then there wouldn't be temperature fluctuations. Or it could be the thermostat isn't working properly. Good luck, Tom
