Where do I get the forms and what are the steps. My tenants have not paid in months and I gave them until the end of August to move out and are refusing to move or pay. Where do I start to get them out quick. I initiated a civil suit for rents they owe but I want them out of my house. They refused thus far. I don't want to pay an attorney out of pocket. I simply can't afford it. Please advice me where to get forms and how to fill them out if there is certain process to them. Thank you.

I'm not 100% positive on NY law, but most states require you to provide a 30-day notice. This would mean that if you asked them to leave on August 1st, they would have until the 31st to vacate.
If they still refuse, you file in small claims court for eviction and for what they owe you in back rent and late fees, if any. Odds are they won't show up for court and you'll be granted a default judgment; the sheriff will then post notice on their door that they have X amount of days to vacate the property.
Do not change the locks or try to remove their belongings - these are illegal practices and will result in more trouble for you in the long run.
