My son was murdered before his son was born, and since they were not married and he could not sign the birth certificate his name was not added onto his. We are wondering if we do dna test that proves is it is child, and if we give the OK to cahnge his name, is it possible. And is that the only way we can do it. We do have sample of his dna since it was a murder and they have that stuff for trial. We live in nm. Please let us know he is already 6 months.
