This is the situation & we would really appreciate some help!

This person was arrested back in November of 2007 for 8 counts of Negotiating Worthless Instruments and given until July 2008 to pay $2900. Unfortunately this person can not get a job because when employers run background checks they see the charges. Also can not get food stamps, medicaid (for her daughter) or any government assistance because of the charges as well. Now not only the court would not give an extention of time to pay but now they have issued warrants for her arrest for 8 counts of Probation Violation . (This person was a single mother at the time as well & no way to take care of her daughter. Her ex-husband is $14,000+ behind in childsupport as well.) But the big thing was they did not tell her she was on probation when she went to court & they did not give her a PO. So what does this mean for her? Will she serve time or if she goes to turn herself in & pays the bond (warrants & bonds are posted online already) that is posted online will it all go away or is she looking at jail time... more fines... or what? Thanks for your help! We are just trying to figure out what to do for her! :(
