OK, my hubby and I had intercouse during my "fertile window" using the pull out method. Is there a possibility of my being pregnant? I have read so many different things about this method. The last time he ejaculated was about 24 hours before and he urinated before we did the deed, if that helps. I am due for AF in about 4 days. Took a hpt in the middle of the day and it came back negative. Any responses will be greatly appreciated thanks

The "pull out" method is a method for getting pregnant - its just a matter of time.

Urinating before has no effect on his sperm.

Four days before AF might be too early to take an HPT. Wait until AF is late and test with first morning urine - that a very important step so the hormones are concentrated in your system and provides the most accurate result.

Pull out method is pretty chancy, candace. All it takes is a tiny bit of sperm to start a whole new era. Ejaculation doesn't start at the time of 'pulling out', it starts while that piece of dynamite is in there.

The pull out method is never 100%.

You could be pregnant I would say the pull out method is about as effective as not bothering to pull out atall. I would wait a while then take another test first thing in the morning and if that is still negative then see your doctor and if you are not pregnant and don't want to be then get some proper essective birth control!

Someone once said here that there is a name for people who use the pull out method,their called... parents.
