I am remodeling a bathroom and want to move the location of the toilet approximately 10 - 12 feet from its original location. I need to know the best method for running the new drain (sewer) from the new position of the toilet to the old (original drain). Specifically, how do I tie in the new drain to the old drain. What degree of slope do I need for the new sewer line? Can I tie in to the original vent? Is it best to jack hammer the existing floor and pour new concrete over new line, or to raise the section of the floor for approximatley 4" over the new line with either concrete or wood flooring?
Thanks,
Bobby
