Help!! I need serious advice! Please.
I love my boyfriend very much, we've been together for about half of a year now, so I care that he is healthy and loved. But, unfortunately his parents abuse him. But it's not really physical, I mean, when his dad gets mad, he has hit him and hurt him, but it's not that often. The abuse is more of verbal abuse. His parents gets so mad that he's 17 and doesn't have a job (which isn't even that bad) that they don't give him money, took his phone away, leave rotted food in the house, and don't give him rides anywhere. Therefore, he's unable to contact anyone for help, or barely get in touch with people. And since he has no money, whenever we go out, he can't buy food and he barely eats at home because the food in his house is bad, so he like only eats once a day, which is at like midnight. Then, he has no choice but to walk/ride his bike all the way across town to get anywhere, at night, all alone, without a phone for emergencies, on a BUNCH of MAIN ROADS, in the rain sometimes.
So, I feel more like a mom to him than a boyfriend. Like how I always have to pay for him, make sure he eats, make sure he's able to get home safely, keep him stable form going crazy and losing control when his parents are being horrible (which is everyday literally).
Also, his parents blame sooo many things on him that he doesn't/didn't even do, like all the time. So they random lecture him about stupid stuff he doesn't deserve to be lectured about and then they yell at him and start drama and he gets in trouble for no reason. And they literally tell him he fails at everything, all the time!! And when he tells them that he feels like they don't love him or that he sometimes feels like he just wants to die, they either ignore him or shrug and walk away, not believing him.
I can only support him for so long. I need help to figure out what I should do. His parents are being unacceptable, they're suppose to support him!
