I have always had an irregular period, often going months at a time with no menstruation. My doctor recently diagnosed me with PCOS after checking off all the 'symptoms'. My mother was also quite irregular; she did not start her menses until the age of 17. My partner and I had unprotected intercourse numerous times in the past couple of weeks and a couple of days ago I started having weird symptoms. I was extremely tired and achey and sleepy, with no appetite. My breasts aren't sore but they are definitely fuller, more heavy? Certain odors I once found appealing sickened me and I started having mildly uncomfortable cramps in my abdominal area that felt somewhat "tightened". But those symptoms went away a day later and then I had a dark brown discharge the consistency of an egg white, only slightly stickier, slight odor, nothing too foul. I only see it when I wipe. I know I should see a doctor but I currently have no medical insurance. What could this possibly be? Implantation bleeding? Could I be pregnant?

She didn't mention abortion, so I don't see how that's relevant?
The spotting you described isn't really descriptive of "typical" implantation spotting. Typically, IF a woman experiences implantation spotting it would be 7 - 10 days after ovulation and it would be light pink/light red.
It is possible that you could be pregnant - as sex can often result in just that. Take a home pregnancy test with first morning urine - even the Dollar Store has them.

Although the OP never mentioned abortion, I would like to know why you think it is not an option?

Unprotected sex indicates pregnancy.
Those symptoms don't, as just a couple of weeks after implantation, it's too early to show almost all of these "symptoms".

What you described are all symptoms I get anywhere from a few days to a week before my period starts. If you think you might be pregnant, then take a test or see a doctor.

Many times P.M.S. symptoms mimic pregnancy symptoms.
It is impossible to confirm pregnancy by your vague symptoms alone.
The best indication of pregnancy is a missed period.
Could you be pregnant?
Certainly any time you have unprotected sex the potential for pregnancy exists.
Planned parenthood is in most states in the U.S.
They treat people on a sliding scale according to income.
