I have been dancing for about 3 years now, I started at the age of 13. I am very good at performing in front of large audiences and I enjoy dancing a lot. I really want a career in it but I don't know what kind of possibilities there are for dancing jobs out there. I either wanted to have my own studio and teach coreography, or be a professional backup dancer. I am mostly expierienced in HIPHOP dancing, I'm currentley in teen hiphop level 3. But I am thinking about doing Jazz and Possibly acro, I am very quick at learning coreography, and I am good at teaching it. I can dance pretty well, and I attend freedom studios, I just hope there is some type of job out there that I could do, because I want to be able to have a job but also enjoy it, please help if you know anything about jobs to do with dance, or the type of money they pay etc; thanks.

Two things for you
There is a motto:find something you love to do and you will never work a day in you'r life
I would encourage you to pursue dance but a lot like a professional athlete,or any performer have a back up plan, pursue business management or anything you think will help with a dance studio

Hi, babeygurl_08!

If you go to college and study what they would like for you to do in dancing, you'll be more likely to make connections and to get a job doing that. You'll also get more respect from people in places where you can audition for dancing parts because you've had some formal training.

Thanks!

Go ahead girl! Do what feels right. But make sure you research what people have to offer. Be a good sport because not a lot of opportunities come every time.
