I am applying for a job with fingerprints for the first time in my life. 1982 was when my probation ended for felony armed robbery (mugging). In 1995 I received " a plea of conviction set aside and charges dismissed per calif civil code 1203.4... In reality and lawfully I understand that the only time I ever have to disclose this is when I run for office or apply for any type of licensing... Am I safe from fingerprinting, and not losing this job offer or do I come clean and show all my paperwork? Thanks

I'd come clean and show my paper work after all they have a right to know if there hiring the wrong person.
