What does " love to work the kitty like purr, she loves to stir it up purr" mean?

It could mean anything, all lyrics are from the author's perspective. A lot of lyrics are meant to be vague so that the person listening to them can relate or make up their own meaning. But I assume it's some sort of sexual reference.

It sounds sexual, although my mind might just be in the gutter
