I think this is a war film but there isn't a lot of fighting involved all I remember is a littleboy about 12 who becomes friends with a army/prisoner man and lives in there dorm and across the field is a wire fence and on the other side is were the japanese army men are and there is a little japanese boy who helps the american boy but in one seen the japanese boy tries to givete american boy a frisby (I think) back and the americans shoot him as he is from the enemy camp and at the end of the movie the american men and boy have been walking for miles and in a field are loads of pianos tables and other house hold stuff when they walk past it there is like a big green house were all there loved ones are I no its not a very good description on the filmi but I saw it about 5/6 years ago and that's all I can remember

It was the first one that poped into my head.. have you tried googling movie descriptions.. I know there are sites that list even movies made back in the 70's
