Hello Adam,
Almost 3 years old thread, always check the date on the left top corner.
#3 is a nose threaded spout what is your question?
Thanks.

I know it is an old thread. It is the only thing I could find related to my problem. I'll start a new one next time. Question: how do I remove the old gate and install the new one?

The spout you have chosen is a spout with a female thread in the nose. You may remove it by unthreading it counter clockwise. Good lick, Tom
