I am looking for ideas on building wooden shelving in a storage locker 5' X 10' X8.5' . Thank you.

The most quick and easiest is the shelf kits that have metal rails that install vertically with tons of slots to adjust the wood shelfs. The kit comes with all the rails and shelf pins. Wood is separate. You can but extra pins for more shelves.

2x4's with 2x3's secured horizontally like rungs on a ladder. Space them out 24 - 32", attach them to the ceiling, and make shelves with 3/4" or 5/8" OSB. Very strong.
