I live in a city centre 3rd floor flat and wish to try cultivating a windown box. I'm thinking a few herbs, maybe picking lettuce? So want to know what things cannot be grown with others?

You could grow, peppermint, maybe rosemary, sage, chives. I've grown them all together in windowboxes before and they did OK
