I had a temporary crown fitted 5 days ago and I am in serious discomfort. Originally my dentist had left gaps between my gum & the temporary crown, therefore leaving my nerves exposed, and today a second dentist (original dentist is on holiday) filled the gaps with filling cement. However, after eating it is back to how it was; I am experiencing headaches & jaw-ache, toothache & throbbing. Is this normal to be experiencing this or has my dentist done something seriously wrong, i.e. have the nerves in my tooth been disturbed? When I get my real crown will I still have these problems? I have 8 more days until the real crown will be ready, and I don't want to have this pain!! Is there anything I can do?
