I have recently installed the Skype. From that time Firefox is very fast and crashes down a lot. I've noticed a Browser highlighter icon at the top right of the window and eBay.
When I searched through the internet, I found that this what causes the browser to get slow
And crashed and found huge number of complaints about this issue. Most of them agree that
They couldn't uninstall it. I've tried instructions from the Mozilla page. I've searched the
"%APPDATA%\Mozilla\" file and found it. They said that you open the profile folder
And find the undesired extension and remove it. I did not find any extension related to the
Browser highlighter. I still have the problem and don't know what to do. Any Help?

As expected. I did not find any. I went to Mozilla folder
Selected : Firefox ----> select profiles -----> a folder called sgslz4qi.default ----> I found folder : cache , and another folder
Offline Cache. I did not find a folder named eBay or browser highlights or anything related to them. Could you tell me please how and where exactly did you find it?

Did you boot the computer on safe mode?

When you boot the computer on safe mode do a search and type Highlighter then the folder where is is located will show up, then simply delete it

Have you tried the following steps?

1. Click the tools menu in your FireFox browser.
2. Select the Add-ons menu.
3. Click the Extensions tab in the FireFox window that pops up.
4. Click on the Browser Highlighter logo in the list of extensions.
5. Click the uninstall option.
6. Click Uninstall in the prompt.
7. Click the restart FireFox button at the top of the Extensions menu.
