Have a 5 year old Maytag gas dryer. Turns on, everything seems fine, but the clothes take FOREVER to dry, and I have to hang them outside due to the length of time. Not normal. What could be the problem? Thanks!

Have you cleaned your vent pipe lately ? If not try that also clean the lint trap with a brush and soap and water.
