Hi,

My BBT was consistently 98.6 since I conceived up until my 8th week of pregnancy. On 8.1 week, the BBT went down from 98.6 to 98.1. I do not have any other symptoms of impending miscaariage. I have a single intrauterine pregnancy with no bleeding no cramping. I occasionally have pains in sides of lower abdomen which my ob said is due to muscle stretching, since she has ruled out ectopic. Does only decrease in BBT by 0.5 without any other symptom, mean anything serious at this stage of pregnancy?

Any reply would be greatly appreciated

I wouldn't worry about such a small drop. BBT tracking is not recommended while pregnant because your temps are prone to change frequently.

I'm 18 weeks and I haven't done BBT since about a week after my + HPT.

I know this post happened a long time ago, but can you tell me what happened with your pregnancy. All is well, I hope! I am 8+01 today and SAME thing!

My pregnancy was 100% wonderful. The baby arrived early due to placental abruption with no known cause.

Such little temp drops are really nothing to worry about. Temping will only cause undue stress if you continue throughout your pregnancy.

Signs to look for are bleeding and cramping. Don't continue to obsess over temps. :)
