Hi all

I'm looking for some help please

We purchased a car in 2007 via RFS ( now RCI ) financial services. The brand new car was faulty from new.

We persevered and waited for repairs and eight months later I lost it and sent it back. The finance company was well aware of the defects and our frustration

Now the vehicle has been sold on I have to answer to a CCS for over £11k - the difference in between their costs and what I actually paid.

I have until Friday to defend this ?

HELP - PLEASE !

Pretty much all you can do is re explain the problems you were having with the car and why you can not financially afford to pay them back. Then they will look it over and return their reply.
It there is anything else you can do I hope somebody else comes along with the answer

I believe you will find that the finance company is not responsible for the fact that the car was a lemon. You could try what is referred to here as a third-party complaint against the dealer, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
