Hi.. I am curious.. my period was 7 days late ( I am never late)

Then suddenly on the 8th day spotting on and off duing the day then that night Gushes of bright red blood. Lots. The next day today.. spotting.. now in the evening nothing no bleeding. My period lasts generally 5-7 days..

Very confusing was that my period?

It could be, but you have to factor in lots of other questions such as your age (could be early menopause) or maybe your contraceptive pill isn't working correctly (as was my problem when I had similair problems and was causing breakthrough bleeding at least once a week)

Could be your age (hormones not yet settled down)

You have left out a lot of info that will help us.
