I have an older a/c unit in my attic. I have a bad leak in the drip pan which is sealed for now but I want and need to replace it before the seal wears out. I can do the work but I can not find anyone who markets either a salvage, custom, or current 14'' X 41'' replacement drip pan. Are there any experts out there who know the field who can adives me where to look? I need to be able to do this so my wife will not mind my buying the watch I bought for myself yesterday. Please help.
Thank you!

Call a sheet metal shop and ask for a quote to have them fabricate one for you. What brand furnace do you have?

Trane won't deal with you directly and would refer you to one of their dealer suppliers. A manual may help a bit Manuals - Air Conditioner, Heat Pump, Furnace, HVAC Manual : Trane Residential (http://www.trane.com/Residential/Trane-Owners/Owners-Manuals)

I am sorry, there is no "rate this answer
below". I suppose either I am missing something or someone needs to update
Their website software. Unfortunately, for
Many new users it is this kind of crap
That causes many to drop using this
Very valuable system. The idea, not
The software. This has been going on since
1972.

I think you must do 5 or 10 posts before they let you rate us. This cuts down on folks brand new to the desk from making mistakes due to their limited experience.
