Well I'm about 9 days late on my period, my last period was July 4th and I normally get it for 5 days, then me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex but he says he didn’t inside me. So I was a bit paranoid and when August 4th came I had cramping the day before and took 2 Advil’s because I thought my period would come, so I was waiting and it didn’t, so I was like maybe it'll come sooner because I’ve had times where my period wasn’t punctual and id miss 1 month of my period, but now I don’t know if I’m pregnant I have some cramps and I feel gassy my normal symptoms of me getting my period today I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive but I took it right after having sex, I really don’t know so I’m thinking of going to the gynecologist and getting things situated but until then what do you thing?

Obviously I can't tell you for sure whether you're pregnant. But I'm going to guess that since a) you had unprotected sex and b) the test said positive that you are indeed pregnant. Whether you had sex just before you took the test should have no effect on the outcome. Those test measure the hcg hormone in your urine. Sex should not effect that.

If its positive then you'r pregnant.
