Hello

My parents have been staying at a place since the partition of india. They came from pakistan as refugees and got a piece of land however that was in my grandfather brothers name who was not married and stayed with my grandparents . He died in 1980 and since then my parents have been staying there with my grand mother.now at that property only my grandmother ,my father 's and my uncle 's family is staying. We don't have any kind of proof that property belongs to grandmother or grandfather's brother. But property is in our possession since last 40-45 years. We want to get the legal papers made in my name and my uncles name .is it possible ? And who all can claim for his ?my grandfather was only 2 brothers.

I'm not sure what you mean hon.
Do you mean that it belonged to your grandfathers brother, and when he died, the family continued to live in it without the papers being transferred to them?

Yes that is correct and we have been staying there since last 40-45 years without property being transferred to my parents name. Suggest me how to get legal paperwork done and property can be transferred in my and my uncle's name.
Thanks

Mmm I'm sure you will get help soon. Sorry I can't be of anymore help. I know how to deal with a rental after a family member dies, but that's not the case here. Good luck.
