Hi I'm Ariana.

I just turned 24. I've had this problem for several years now and cannot find help, it is extremely depressing. The facial change follows a specific pattern going from good to bad, now lasting months. The changes include a loss of fat under the eyes creating hollows, this makes my face appear skinny, long and unattractive. During this time my skin becomes dry and lifeless, as if I was losing a lot of collagen. My skin also becomes pale with a bluish and pinkish tint to it. My eyes get a slight burning sensation. I look very tired and overall unattractive and unhealthy. Essentially it all goes back to normal, naturally my skin is great, I don't have any of these issues. But it continuously comes and goes now lasting almost 13 months, I can't take it. It is affecting my personal and professional life immensely. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Greetings and WELCOME to the site, Ariana!

I moved your question out of Introductions to this forum topic area so that it will be more likely to be noticed and addressed by those who are best able to answer it. Introductions is for introductions only, and we try to not ask questions there.

The question that I have for you is, have you been to a physician of some kind to see what he or she has to say about your issue? Also, if you have been to a physician, what have they had to say, please?

Hopefully, others will also come along to address your question.

Thanks!

I read an article in the reader's digest about a girl that had a similar problem. Part of her face started to cave in because of a rare condition. I don't remember was the disease was called but I'll try too find the article..
