On my left side I have been having pain in my ribs. It actually feels like it right under my ribs. There is one spot that feels sore. It was a mild pain for about a year and I thought I was just sleeping on my side wrong. It has been getting worse and now on my right side in the same spot as my left side the same feeling of a mild pain has started over there.
I went to the doctors and they did blood work on me and everything came back normal. I wanted them to do an x-ray but they wouldn't, instead they sent me for a mammogram. I am 33 years old. I can feel the pain when I turn and move wrong and sometime when I am just sitting. Does anyone else have this problem or know what might be wrong? Sometimes I don't feel it, but it seems like its irritated by something and that's when it hurts worse. Any advise or help?

Could it be your gallbladder? Mine hurt on both sides, sometimes only one and sometimes both. They never found anything in my tests. No stones but was doing it's own thing. Had it removed. It helped but you need to know where a bathroom is all the time. Do you get heartburn? I hurt right in the middle of my chest at the bottom of the ribs too. Does eating spicy or fatty foods bother you, they did me. The left side I think is your spleen. Keeping going to doc until you figure it out it took about 1 1/2 months for me. No stones all test normal. My gallbladder is not in rhythm like it should be. Good Luck!
