I'm having problem with me L120 John Deere once it gets hot it won't climb hills I know for a fact its not the belt I replaced it and it is routed correctly I was told it was a valve problem and that the transaxle is sealed but this is not the case I was able to separate the transaxle by removing from the tractor and removing all the bolts and it split right in half with ease now I just need to know exactly where or what my vavles look like so I know to get the right part. Thank you

Hi,
Deere has a breakdown of it and TuffTorq may have a service manual for download, they only have a couple so far.

Does anyone know of a web site that I can go to, to download or print a repair manual for a transmission on my L120 john deere lawn tractor

Hi,
I do not have the access I had when I worked for a dealer, so I cannot find the model in the L120 (it is on the right axle housing.)
This link has the two manuals available from TuffTorq, K61 and K92. Look under Troubleshooting.
Lawnmower Transaxles from Tuff Torq (http://www.tufftorqservices.com/cgi-bin/tts.storefront)
