That you write these things anonymously at this forum, shows that you are not searching for attention-- you are searching for answers and for help, and truly believe in your hearts what you see, without speculating, without wanting to earn money on your experiences (or gifts), which is something truly admirable.

I am myself a researcher (in physics), that wishes to encourage actually contacting
Those people, that just like you, are searching for answers, which are other researchers,
Preferably employed by universities. It might appear hard to find those that will not laugh at you.

The researchers in all countries, that will offer you FREE help out of their own curiosity, are actually the skeptic researchers, that have a world-wide net. However strange this might sound, but in every skeptic researcher, there is someone with a doubt about his own thinking, and he will always make a real scientific investigation out of the problem. Perhaps, will they easily show you some very scientific and convincing reasons behind your experiences, and you will feel calmer and relieved, and let go of this happenings.

But what if, you will show the scientists that unexplainable things actually happen? In this way, you will contribute ENORMOUSLY to the science-- a bigger contribution than of any scientist of today. I would be happy myself to help you, but am afraid that my location is on the wrong side of the Earth, to be able to help you. I could although redirect you to various persons, and never hesitate to contact me.

Initially, I would look for this organization in your country, and send them a mail. They actually wait for this kind of investigation opportunities:

CSICOP / Resources / International Network of Skeptical Organizations (http://www.csicop.org/resources/organizations.html)

In each country, this organization has a paranormal investigation team. They might call themselves skeptics, but they will help you FOR FREE regardless of your issue, and as well as they can help you, you might help them. And they will perform REAL science; not any pseudoscience (without real scientific methods as many private amateur investigation groups do).

Please, take care of your hearts, and of your minds! Let us finding the answers together, and share it with the world, instead of each one of you being alone in his own fight with the darkness.

Personally I find skeptics too closed minded and too far off base.

You see a manifestation sitting on a park bench with VERY distinct features and clothing. It is a perfectly clear warm night and no strange lighting. The manifestation disappears instantly.

The skeptic explains away what you saw with something more illogical that didn't even happen that way. Saying it was probably the fog, a strange lighting from the park light and your eyes played tricks on you. That you only imaged he was wearing a gray striped suit and had a long nose. That he probably didn't disappear into thin air but you just didn't see him get up and walk away even though you were looking straight at him and he disappeared instantly (even though that would have been impossible for him to walk away without your seeing him do so)

Are wrong about that you should just come and bother skeptics by telling them a lot of stories without letting them trying any experiment off-- that is why you are searching them.

But here is the difference about how scientists would treat such a similar problem: They would not just come with an answer, they would suggest to check up if a similar thing can be observed at the similar place under similar conditions again.

For any scientific experiment to be regarded as reliable, it must be able to be repeated. Skeptics are not interested in judging stories people tell them (it is useless; try to distinguish reality from fantasy/illness from lie in certain people?), they are interested in solving problems that can be investigated.

And why directly starting with the most paranormal explanations? Being open-minded, does not mean to go for the most exotic explanations without any material, it means being able to visit these explanations when all the other ones have failed. And trust me, skeptics are good at doing this. (For instance, I am one of them, but I will not reject the possibility that something paranormal actually have occurred, on the other hand I will find it less likely, unless I cannot explain it in any other way.)

My point is I don't come and bother skeptics by telling them a lot of stories... because I know it is pointless.
I don't search them... they seem attracted to paranormal boards where they give their illogical interpretation.
Skeptics DO judge stories and it is useless listening to them because they decide this is what it must be case closed.

So these people you are referring, do they ever come to the conclusion that something may have been paranormal?
What is their percentage of accepting paranormal events as just that?

BTW I do have my own 'scientific' theories on some paranormal things but to me they are still paranormal

a) Skeptical society sounds more skeptical than it actually is. They have not created investigation teams just to laugh off people.
That you do not need to get research equipment for.

b) JUST STORIES HAVE NO VALUE! It is because you should not bother scientists with TELLING but with SHOWING. If you have something to tell, don't go to scientists. But if you think you have some paranormal gift, then SHOW them. LET THEM TEST YOUR GIFT.
With proper experimental methods, they cannot explain away results, because before the experiment, there is an analyzis about appropriate results and which model the different results are pointing to. Why would scientists accept paranormal stories from any story telling?

And after all, are you interested in getting your paranormal believes certified, or are you interested with trying to find out what actually is going on?

Of course, you can always try to continue brainwashing yourself and young teenagers with that scientists are illogical, but they do damn much better science than any medium ever would do, and with scientists, you have energy, you have medication, and you nowadays can live until 80-90 years easily, instead of 22.

These people I am referring to, have unfortunately not got the opportunity to draw the conclusion that something is paranormal, because all people claiming paranormal gifts, never have the guts to find out if their gifts are truly gifts, or might have a rational explanation.

And yes, I know several people from these organizations that just wait to find some evidence for paranormal activities. But without testing material, they will never see any, and thus, this will not be considered as any scientific conclusion.
