My Son is 13 years old and he is having a girlfriend. I am afraid that one of these days he will knock her up.
What do I need to teach him?
Is it time to talk about sex, protection...
Thanks

It's actually past time for "the talk." Do not limit your discussion to pregnancy, mention disease, emotional trauma, commitment, and responsibility as well.

My children had "the talk" at the age of 10.

If you aren't shy to talk turkey with him, arrange a quiet time for just the two of you. Be prepared for the raised eyebrows, yawns, and 'yeah, I know's' that you will get- but, he IS listening. Get all the points out that you need to make, it is better late than never, and you don't know that the information he already has is bad information.

When my son was around 10, we had 'the talk', and I wasn't sure how much sunk in, although now that he's in his 20's, I know it did lol I put condom's everywhere. In his underwear drawer, in his night table, in his desk. Even put a few in his wallet. It was a bit of a laugh at the time, because it was overkill of course, but I was planting all the seeds I could so that he would think, later on.

You really can't lose by having the talk, and he may surprise you with what he does know, and what he doesn't.

Good luck, you're doing the right thing.

By the way, thank you for being a concerned parent. The world needs more.
