That Jesus' father was a roman soldier is a myth that no reputable historian (Christian or not) subscribes to.

It stems from one comment made by by Celsus, an anti-Christian philosopher of the 2nd century. He wrote (as quoted by Origen):

"when she (Mary) was pregnant she was turned out of doors by the carpenter to whom she had been betrothed, as having been guilty of adultery, and that she bore a child to a certain soldier named Panthera."

It's bunk.

Since the bible is clear on who the "step father" of Jesus was, since God was the real father from Christianity,

Even in the Muslim faith it is accepted as Joseph being the father.

There are still people who believe the earth is flat and have web sites , it does not make it true

This is another card thrown in by people who love to stay in the dark and afraid of coming to light and stand in front of Lord Jesus. There are many stories on the internet. I found one where they say that Jesus went to India and met disciples of Buddha and learnt their teachings. Another page by a late Muslim leader says that Jesus has his grave in Kashmir. How much publicity Dan Brown got on Da Vinci code. Satan is in full gear to dislodge people from the right path.

If father of Jesus was a Roman soldier, he would had done something to save Jesus from all the flogging and cross.

I awe on the brains of people who come out with stories like that and how smartly they twist the facts and present to people.

What cesspit did you dig that one from. The Bible tells us clearly who the Father of Jesus was. Don't be influenced by authors of fiction who just want to sell books

Jesus had a specific purpose, his birth was not an accident, and he was true to his purpose
