My daughter's 93 Civic EX doesn't start. Or it starts after repeated attempts and then dies. I- 1. Turned on ignition, 2. Check engine light comes on and goes off. 3. No click, no fuel pump sound, no start. 4. Or- click, fuel pump runs and it starts and runs and perhaps after 30 seconds runs out of fuel and stops. This happened in the winter, and I first suspected the Main Relay but then the Honda partsman suggested the ignition switch instead and that worked for 6 months. Now sporadic starts/ no starts. Does this sound like the main relay or should I check something else. Thanks

Replace the main relay.
