How can I change out my Briggs brand shower hot/cold knobs? I have taken off the plastic
Hot/cold indicator and unscrewed the screw. The handles won't come off. All I can see is
A metal cylinder attached to the plastic hot/cold handle/knob.

You would need a faucet knob removal puller, see the image below, Thanks.

Hi Cathy,
Use a handle puller for those sticky knobs. Are the knobs all that you wish to replace or are you looking to replace the entire the entire valve? Let me know, tom
