Neighbor has a 5 yr old Husqvarna riding mower runs great lots of power when traveling as soon as blades engaged no power any ideas where to start?? I think its and 18 hp automatic

Hi,
First thing to check would be the spindle and idlers for the deck for freedom of movement because of when the problem occurs.
What engine? Numbers, not HP
