I have a Dell PC with high speed internet. I normally use Realplayer for all my media player needs and podcasts. No problems. Recently I was told I must download Itunes and safari so I could access so much more content and that it is the most common platform going. Why should I switch to Itunes from ReaL PLAYER? I CANNOT GET ITUNES TO RECOGNIZE MY mp3 PLAYER WHICH IS A coby.. I ALSO CANNOT DOWNLOAD A PODCAST... am Imissing something? What is the Itunes "supreme-ability" thing?

If you're having no issues and someone is telling you to change, ignore them. No one's bad/sales advice can mess up your computing environment if you ignore them.

If RealPlayer is playing all your content as needed and iTunes is causing you headaches in your ill-urged suggestion to switch, use RealPlayer.

Not meaning to be 100% sarcastic (just 20%), let me elaborate:

Delete iTunes
Reinstall RealPlayer
Return to peaceful media experience
