We have noticed a leak (more like seapage) at the edge of our kitchen sink. I read a fixit answer on another site that recommended just caulking w/ a clear silicone caulk. I do plan on doing that, but won't it just band-aid the problem? Isn't the problem a leak somewhere in the "system". I appreciate any suggestions anyone has on this. Thanks!

at the edge of our kitchen sink. What does that mean? The backsplash? Around the rim? From under the faucet? I don't know yet just exactly what kind of a leak that you have. Is this a "spill leak? A pressure leak? Help me out here. Tom

From around the rim where it rests on the counter top.

So is water leaking from the sink onto the counter or is water leaking around the sink underneath the counter. When does it leak ?
When your washing dishes, running water, all the time ? Post back and let us know GOOD LUCK, AC

Can you snap a photo of it and post it ? We'll figure it out ourselves...

OK! I'm thinking that when water spills from the sink onto the edge the water leaks on past the rim down into the cabinet? Is this your problem? Tom
