So a good guy friend and I have been good friends for about two years now. And since I first met him he's always acted weird around me. I just started getting feelings for him last December. Since then he's been acting even weirder.
1) I've been told he asks about me when I'm not around
2) He's been getting chummier with my friends than he has in the past
3) He'll make time to hang out with me, no matter how busy he is
4) He told one friend he like me, told another he isn't interested, and completely avoided the topic about me with a third friend.
5) He goes out of his way to open a door for me
6) If I'm sitting down and want to get up, he helps me up
7)He'll ask me to go on walks with him
8) He'll look at me when I go to brush my hair back, smile, laugh, take a drink of something... basically looks at me a LOT ( friends have commented on it)
9) He looks at me when he's talking to other people.
10) He looks for me in crowds
11)He responds to everything I say... even if I'm not talking to him
12) He looks real jealous if I'm around a guy
He was more than willing to help me move. He even made time to help me move a washer and dryer, then completely embarrassed himself. I was walking up some stairs to where he was talking to a friend of mine, and I over heard him say ''Yeah, she's a real girl'' Then blushed really bad when he was me standing in front of him.
13) He always sits across form me when we sit at a table... no matter what chairs are open.
He is usually the laid back, easy going, always happy type of guy, but lately he's been really serious, and distant.
That's all I can really think of that he does... besides the fact that when he stares at me he has this... look. I can't really explain it, but it's weird. I took a picture of him standing by some water, because it looked really cool, and a few days later I was bored so I zoomed in on the picture. Now it looks like he's looking straight, but zoom in and he's looking RIGHT at me... with THAT look. It's weird. So yeah, kind of in a jam if he likes me or not... my best friend says that he's starting to see me as more than just a friend but just won't admit it... Anyone able to help with this?

It sounds like he likes you, but might be afraid of you thinking it would ruin the friendship.

Act like you're interested in him... or tell him. Then go from there. If he likes you, huzzah! Date. If not... he's a weird guy and you deserve someone that won't misrepresent himself so horribly.

Yay!

Sounds to me like this.

He likes you. He's shy, and won't want to admit it. Depending on the friend he told what, it depends on his comfort level with that friend.
He found out you like him. It was a rumor, so he's not 100% sure. He's trying to get YOU to say something.

My advice, ask him out, and make sure it's clear that it's a date. He'll get the message! ;)

Good Luck.

Well, he and I are going to be going bowling Sunday with a bunch of friends of ours.
Is there anything I should keep an eye out for, or not do?

I feel stupid asking that ha ha.

Keep an eye out for: Fly balls. I know from experience, a bowling ball hitting you hurts.
Do NOT do: Anything that is acting different. Be yourself and you'll be fine.

Well do you like him more then a friend? If you do say something to him about it.

K thought I'd let you know. We talked about our feelings... and well I guess he's only liked me as a good friend. But the good news... I've been upgraded to a really really good friend.

That's good.
Now, you can either wait and hope. It does work, I know, but it's rare.

Or, you can accept him as a friend, and try to find someone who likes you as more than a friend right now.

Either way, I'm sure you'll come out fine, you've got a smart head on your shoulders, and you don't seem to be making any stupid decisions.

Sorry BBenjamin, but I'm not so sure on NoName's knowledge on this subject. He is currently having girl problems, and has a history of them. So...

He may like you, he may not, but either way he isn't going to have a relationship with you right now.

Oh heee likes you, when a guy is put on the spot by the girl has a crush on, he's going to lie and say he doesn't
Keep an eye on him

Nope, I don't do that, and some guys I know don't do that. Some do, and some don't, but not all do.

That's segregation by sex and stereotyping. Still not cool.

How? A girl her age, though I'm not so sure what age she is, would act the same way, being pulled to a person you have feelings for, bing unsure if theywould feel the same or not, not know how thew will react to the answere
That's some tense stuff

HelpinHere

It's tense for some people, others can be completely comfortable with it. Myself, other guys I know, and girls also. Again, NOT EVERYONE is the SAME, everyone is different. You have to accept that.

Besides, she said "we talked about our feelings" not "he talked", meaning that he knows she likes him. According to your theory, he would know that she feels the same, so he wouldn't have to worry if she feels the same, and therefore would say so. You're theory, not mine.

AManWithNoName

My theorys don't make a lick a sense and you know that man, like here's an example
If my girlfreind makes me happy, whenever she's happy, and I make her happy whenever I'm happy, because of me bing happy of her happyness caused by mine
That means that we are stuck in a constant state of happyness
Now, he could have lied, consider the facts, he does all these things, I don't want to list, but, wouldn't all those things be the things a young boy does when he has a crush on a girl
I like debate, but I hate layers, hm

No proof that he is a liar, and there are perfectly viable alternatives to everything on the list other than "he likes her".
Not saying he doesn't, just saying it's indecisive either way.
