If you don't have a money on your own and just depends your flight with that BF, you will have a very hard to impossible situation. As long as there's money and don't have something unlawful about you, everything will be fine.

It could have been easier (not easy) if he's in Canada and process will only takes place in the Philippines and in Canada.
