I need to know if it is possible/safe to get an adaptor to plug in my Travel Trailer to my home? Also, I have a generator but it doesn't have the 30 amp connection needed. I was told that the 30 amp plug for a home doesn't work for 30 amp RV hookup. Do they make an adaptor for the generator or home for this that is safe?

Need to start by giving the details of what the RV has for a plug. There are many types of receptacles and plugs, each for different voltage and amperage ratings, along with 3 and 4 wire configurations.

I am pretty sure I have seen a 30A 4-wire twist lock to 30A 120v travel trailer plug adapter.
Check in RV stores or catalogs.
This is a pretty common issue so I bet something is out there. I have never seen a genny with a travel trailer receptacle on it.

You will need a Power inlet box/recepticle at Trailer, and a 30 Amp receptacle from house. Would do 4 wires, and need to keep inlet from being live when powered form other than house. I would Match necessary parts to allow either the Generator to be plugged in or the House.

You will need a Power inlet box/recepticle at Trailer,Strat, travel trailers already have power cords ready to be plugged in.
They are either 120v-30A, or 120/240v-50A.
