I'm 12(yes 12!)
And well I think I'm in love and here's why I think so.

I liked this guy at d start of the year then we went on camp and then i started liking him even more.
at the end of term 2 i stopped liking him(i thought i did anyway) then at the start of term 3 me and my friends thought that i was definitely over him so we ripped up the pages that were in my diary with his name.
2nd week term 3 I bounced back and i like him again!
my friends say I'm obsessed(or in love)
My friends think that he likes me(I'm kind of covinced too) because he's always staring(but wen i look he looks away)

Ive been in a similar position to you, and trust me, you will think its love until the next guy, then you will realise its not love, but think you are in love with him.
Just because it's a greater attraction that you have experienced before doesn't mean it is love.

p.s. I loved Land Before Time back when I was like 8, and I still like it now, and I am turning 18 in 19 days :p

Like everyone has said here, it's not "true love" just a big crush. I even think I'm too young to be in love, I'm almost 15. I have a really good guy friend whom he and I have a mutual feeling for each other. I wouldn't call it love, just a friendship that is a little more than just being buddies. Maybe if you talk to him more and try to get to know him better you guys can be really good friends. And just because your friends say you feel one way doesn't mean you do. Good luck :)
